Why is it that once a child is too big for something that's all they want to play with? Ethan has a bumbo (Pictured above). He calls it "baby seat" So cute I know. Well this past week all he has wanted to do is sit in in, sit Elmo doll in it, and sit pandi (Sounds like pantie when he says it). I can remember that when I was a kid the play house was much more fun when we had to bend over to be inside it. So here is the question. What is the lure of toys that we are to big for?

One Busy Week

So this past week has just flown by. I love my Job. I have the best job in the world. I get paid to take care of two of the cutest little boys. Here are some pictures of the two of them from this week.

Friday Doran did a photo shoot with Brandi this is one of the many. A lot turned out good. She is so cute with her new hair and a more nateral way to do her makeup. Well have to jet.

In the car we rode to the store. Other than that we hug out at home. Doran was sore when he got off work.

Day 2 I got to pick up Brandi at teh Airport. Thank you Mom Rice for taking me. We hug out at the house then we went over to mom and dad Rices. Doran BBQ chicken for dinner and we all went to bed early.

The Eazy Way to Clean the Kitchen Floor

Items needed:
Sink
Sink plug
Any vacuum that will handle water.
Towels

How to:

1. Fill sink
2. Ignore water sounds as it starts to over fill
3. Realize what is going on
4. Run to Kitchen
5. Turn off water
6. Grab towels
7. Towels soaked move to the side
8. Panic
9. Remember the wet vac you bought at a yard sell for $30
10. Grab Vac
11. Turn on
12. Suck up water

Congrats you have now cleaned your floor and had your heart exercises for the day.

A Week of Vacation Day 1

So I started My week off cleaning the house. Well of Saturday I cleaned the bathroom and the Bedroom (They are the last place Doran ditty's) These days I just don't have the energy to keep up with him. Now he is doing better Saturday he picked up his wood and tools (more out of fear that I would again organize his tool box) I took before's and afters. No one believes me when I tell them how dirty the house is. Doran is like trying to keep up with a two year old...No wait Ethan's two and Doran is far worse. Well I will keep you all updated as the week goes. See Yeah.

Block Bliss

So after I lay Holland down for his first nap Ethan and I do quiet activity's. His blocks are one of his favorite. He stacks them up and knocks them down. He has so much fun. And it helps improve imagination and hand eye coordination, And now he has a nice surface to play with the blocks on. The toy box.

Baby Kiss

Ethan loves having Holland around. As soon as he hears the door its "Baby here." He always wants to have Holland close to him. He talks to him and reads to him. Kisses him. They Eat together and take their naps at the same time. Ethan lays on the floor and talks to Holland during his tummy time. They are so cute together. Ethan will make a great big brother.

Muscle Man

So Doran came by work on Wednesday to put the second spring on the toy box at about three. I usualy get Ethan up from his nap then and we go out to play. Ethan loves to play with Dorans truck (You all remember that ugly blue thing. Must be a boy thing.) Ethan was trying to throw his football into the bed but missed and it landed under the truck. Doran pushed the truck out of the way so Ethan could get his ball. Well Ethan decided that pushing the truck looked like more fun. Here he is. Man he looks strong.

A Birthday Present for Ethan

Doran has been working on this for weeks off and on. He got it finished Saturday afternoon and we took it over at eight that night. It turned out great and Jim and Cortney love it. Jim is planing on putting some vinyl letters on it. Doran is hopping to start selling these to make a profit. He is thinking about $300.00 and they are all custom sized and made. Ethan loves getting his toys out and putting them away. He also sits on it and rocks the baby in the car seat and says over and over "Night night baby"

No Pictures

So as I am up at 5 in the morning I sit at the computer and what do I find... Although I am married to a photographer we have no pictures of us on the computer. There are pictures of prom and winter formal and even some wedding pictures but none of us and the ones of me are only horrible because I didn't want Doran to sit there and take 50 pictures so he could get the camera set right.Why cant we have any cute pictures of us together. Hey I would take an ugly picture of us. We will have to do something about this. And put them on our computer not moms. (Doran has a problem with this)

Scripture Treats

Sunday Doran and I wanted to do a fun project. We had our kids read the scriptures then they got to do this project.

I found it on sugar doodle. the kids loved it and the boys learned that a hot glue gun is hot. Silly boys.

We had them make one for themselves and one for their parents. The girls thought that it was cool how they had to put all the letters together to print the book of Mormons. Hope that they retain it.

Holland

Yesterday he slept all day. The hole five hours I had him he was only awake for 90 minuets. Ethan was so sweet he kept asking if the baby is night night. I would say yes and he would climb on the coutch and kiss Hollands head and wisper "night night baby Holland" It was so sweet.

Bike Please

He loves his bike. It was a horribly designed. He try's to use his feet to push it but the front wheel gets in the way. He is so fun to watch. So sweet and full of love.

And Then There Was Two

They are so cute together. Tomorrow I will put up better pictures. Ethan was so cute with Holland. All day he wanted to hold him and kiss him. So precious. Well off to bed.
